Who We Are

We are a training firm that specializes in providing effective training that lasts no longer than 4 hours. We use accelerated learning methods for all of our training programs. Many of our programs include videos or simulation games. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area we will travel to our clients and deliver our programs on-site.

We are affiliated with Honig IdeaGuides a firm devoted to group creativity and innovation through training, facilitation and consulting.

All of our instructors are senior trainers with 10 years or more experience.


Instructors

Bruce Honig, M.A. is the founder of Honig Idea Guides. Bruce brings over 23 years in the field of Training, Facilitation and Organizational Development to his clients. Bruce is a specialist in working with teams. As a senior trainer he has taught thousands of courses. He always makes the classroom fun and productive. He has successfully worked with hundreds of companies representing most industries. He is also the author of Creative Collaboration: Simple Tools for Inspired Team Work.

Margaret Schultz, M.A. is a highly experienced change management consultant with specialized expertise in organizational behavior, team-building techniques and group facilitation. Margaret has been a senior consultant and trainer with organizations worldwide. Over the past several years, Margaret has designed and facilitated teambuilding, leadership and supervisory training programs for several large organizations, including Orange County Head Start, General Motors, Toyota, and The Pacific Stock Exchange.

Steve Krieger is a senior organizational effectiveness consultant and President of VisionPoint Consulting Team, Inc. Steve has 20+ years of experience developing high performance teams and organizations, and facilitating competency and experiential-based leadership development programs. His clients include: Boston Scientific/Target Therapeutics, Catholic Healthcare West, Charles Schwab & Co., Cisco Systems, Fireman's Fund Insurance, Kaiser Permanente, Kellogg, KPMG, LSI Logic Corporation, Marriott Corporation, Pacific Gas & Electric, Procter & Gamble, SBC, and Sun Microsystems.

Paula Swanson, M.A., is president of Swanson Enterprises, a training and consulting firm that specializes in enhancing employee and team productivity, and communication across cultures. She has 23+ years of experience in facilitating participant learning about interpersonal dynamics ­ as a key strategy to improve organizational performance. As a senior level practitioner she uses a variety of tools to help employees better understand themselves. She works on the issues of cultural differences, and has created "The U.S. /Mexico Cultural Translator," Program (available in both English and/or Spanish). Her clients have included Chevron-Texaco, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, City of Newark Senior Management Team, among others.

Thea Kelley, CPPC, is a certified personal and professional coach, an insightful and engaging trainer, and the writer/editor of an influential "train-the-trainers" manual for workforce development professionals. She currently trains and coaches support staff for leading San Francisco law corporations and organizations such as Morrison Foerster, Paul Hastings, and the U.S. Court of Appeals. She has 14 years' experience working with nonprofit and governmental organizations, most recently as a trainer for the City and County of San Francisco. Thea's areas of expertise include accelerated learning techniques, communication skills, public relations, team-building, organizational psychology, leadership and stress reduction. She holds an instructor certification from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, and is now working toward a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology.

Linda Warren has over 15 years of professional experience developing and facilitating workshops and seminars for various companies and organizations such as high tech, insurance, health care, and government agencies. Ms. Warren specializes in providing programs on interpersonal communications, career development and managing organizational change.  She is passionate in promoting collaborative working relationships.  She has served as an internal and external consultant. Some of her accomplishments include creating the first centralized employee development program for the city of  San Rafael. Ms. Warren’s academic background includes a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling from Santa Clara University, and a Certificate in Career Development from JFK’s School of Management. Ms. Warren is certified to teach Achieve Global’s Leadership series, Forum’s Achieving Service Excellence, and Hersey’s Situational Leadership. 

Jeff Harmon is a Business and Corporate Coach who works with successful people who want to take their work and business to the next level. Jeff has coached entrepreneurs, executives, managers and leaders from all walks of life. He conducts both individual and group coaching sessions over the phone and in person and customizes each coaching plan to meet his clients' specific needs. Jeff brings a diverse background of business leadership, counseling and teaching to each encounter. He is a member of the International Coach Federation and trained at CoachU, the largest, oldest and most highly regarded coach training progrram in the world. Jeff is also a public speaker and works with clients all over the globe.

Sharon Marks has over 15 years in consulting. She is the founder of Top Marks Consultants which provides coaching, training, and facilitation. She has worked with information systems professionals, research scientists, city planners, environmentalists, educators, engineers, and managers from a wide variety of industries. Sharon has worked with cross functional teams to increase collaboration and role clarity, helped management and staff reach agreement on decision- making processes, provided training to enhance communication between technical and non-technical groups, and facilitated strategic planning meetings. Partial client list includes: Chevron Petroleum & Technology, Federal Reserve Banks, Xerox International Partners, Genstar Container Corp., ABM Industries, Cisco Systems, Inc. and Xerox International Partners, to name a few.

Dutch Driver is a group facilitator and OD professional using skills gathered over twenty-five years of work experience.  After starting his career in the oilfields of West Texas, Dutch has gained leadership and operational management experience in many different environments, including energy, retail, healthcare, academia, entertainment and marketing/distribution. Dutch received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from McMurry University (1993) and his Masters of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University (1996).
